Current MDP membership requirements & information:

Minimum Pool Donation Amount to a Charitable or Philanthropic Mission:

  • 10% of total pool profits calculated as: Income – Expenses = Profit. 
    Income = Margin + Minimum Cost per Epoch.
  • Donation % amount of profit or income should be posted on  SPO website in a clear spot.
  • Loans do not count as donations for this purpose, since they are repaid.  
  • Pools that have not yet produced a block or are not yet making a profit are exempt until doing so.

Proof of Donation:

  • Receipts proving donations have been made are to be posted to SPO websites in a clear and easily accessible spot.
  • Donation receipts should also be posted to the shared MDP GitHub Donations folder (Work in Progress). A link from the SPO website to the shared MDP GitHub Donations folder can be used in place of receipts posted to the SPO website.
  •  Chosen donation schedule should be posted on SPO website in a clear spot (per epoch, monthly, quarterly, etc.).

Pool Limit:

  • The maximum number of pools an MDP member can have is 2.

Meetings:

  • MDP group Discord video calls are approximately Bi-Weekly with smaller focused meetings as necessary. Not mandatory to attend, but member SPO presence is welcome and input is valuable!

  • The MDP group is completely volunteer, so you’ll get out of it as much as you put into it!
