Mission: Our mission is to extend financial opportunity to communities under-served by today’s banking system. Of course, ultimately, we think Cardano and the Marlowe ecosystem will play a big part in that. For now, though, we intend to work through KIVA (www.kiva.org). I became familiar with this organization through my workplace giving campaign. They do a fantastic job bridging those with ambition but little access to capital to first world donors. A minimum of 10% of pool owner’s profits will be donated to KIVA, where for each $1 donated they are able to facilitate $8 in loans. Also, on occasion, we will fund loans ourselves to showcase engagement opportunities.

Extra Info about me: I have worked as an electrical/software engineer for over 30 years. My experience covers a wide gamut from industrial automation, to embedded systems, to running devops/infrastructure for brand protection/authentication solutions. Cardano, for me, has been a happy opportunity to combine my technical, investment, and community oriented passions. Prior service related endeavors include church leadership, scouting, board of directors and 501c3 setup for local skatepark project, and mountain rescue team training. I am looking forward to further engagement with this community to promote collective success. I truly think Cardano is a difference maker and that being a mission oriented stake pool aligns well with the promise this ecosystem has to improve lives worldwide.
