About Me:  I have spent the last 20 years in various different IT roles; starting as a workshop engineer and finally settling into being a software engineer.

For a long time now I’ve been looking for a project to run which is outside of my normal day-to-day software engineering role, and when I read about the Cardano platform, I feel like I’ve something to spend my time on.

I have been a proponent of open source software for a very long time, and through Cardano’s governance systems [https://cardano.org/governance], Cardano follows my ideals of open source.
