Mission:  We donate 10% of pool fees to the P.S Arts charity organization. They specialize in providing arts education and resources to underserved public schools & communities across the U.S. We also help provide our delegators with promotion and exposure of their desired artwork through our Artist Gallery. We aim to build a community of artists in the Cardano ecosystem that helps stimulate collaboration, exposure and access to artistic resources by the artists within our community. 

About Me: I (Jake) am currently an actor living in Los Angeles. I recently graduated from Pitzer College where I majored in Economics & World Literature. After falling in love with blockchain technology & cryptocurrency, I started looking into which projects I believe have the foundation to stand the test of time. Having recently graduated from college, and reading many monotonous Economic research papers, I naturally gravitated towards projects that rely on first principles and are based in academic research. Cardano immediately stood out to me as the project dedicated to this in the highest degree. In my opinion & after about a year of research, I decided Cardano is the safest bet among all blockchain cryptocurrencies (yes including Bitcoin). I then reached out to a really good buddy of mine (Josh) to see if he wanted to be a part of this journey. Josh recently graduated from UCLA with a major in Computer Science. He had taken a couple of functional programming classes, and was familiar with Haskell because of how entrenched it is in the academic community and in particular UCLA’s Computer Science program. He then did his own research, and found the same thing that I did regarding competing blockchain projects, Cardano is an absolute beast. We decided to start our own Stake Pool Operation. Since I myself am an artist and know the value that passive income has for aspiring artists, I thought Cardano can help tremendously in a multitude of facets:(1) Reliable Passive Income (2) Promotional assistance and (3) Access to a like minded community for collaborative efforts. And this led us to create the ARTZ Pool.
